About me

Born and raised in Mexico City, I learned early on the value of hard work and dedication. I taught older neighbors in my community how to use computers, designed and printed flyers for local businesses, tutored younger students in maths and physics, and bought and sold collectible cards during the World Cup. I spent summers with my father in his workshop. He explained what he was building and I helped him with computer tasks, setting up the printers, updating computer software, and doing CAD drawings. I also saw both the good times and the difficult times. Entrepreneurs are all in. They have no choice. I was eager to carve my own path through hard work, which eventually led to me obtaining a scholarship to study engineering in the UK.

Years later, after receiving my degree in robotics from the University of Liverpool, I started my career in the automotive industry as a continuous improvement engineer, collaborating across departments to optimize operations. I then spent a decade in the food and beverage industry where I built a strong foundation for running a business by immersing myself in operations, project management, and process engineering roles. During this time I led operations teams, spearheaded construction of manufacturing facilities, researched and implemented new technologies, and optimized workflows. These experiences, which took me across North America, South America, and Europe, provided a comprehensive understanding of business operations. At the same time, to build my skills further, I earned an MBA at UCLA Anderson in their part-time program.

While I have enjoyed these experiences and learned a lot from them, it is time for me to pursue my long-held ambition of running a business of my own. Along with my wife, Mariana, I am excited to move to a new community where we can lay down roots and build a family.
